Participant Fees and Refunds
Participant fees are payable to McLean Youth Volleyball at time of registration.
- Spring Girls Leagues (House, Select, Travel) = $160/person
- There is an additional $25 fee for those playing in MS Select and HS Travel
- Fall Boys Leagues = $160/person
Collected fees cover the operating costs of the program. This includes team volleyballs, ball bags, ball carts, team uniforms, gym rentals, referees wages, trophies and awards. A portion of fees are also invested in upgrading the volleyball equipment of local gyms.
For the Spring and Fall, there is a $80 discount for each adult volunteer coach. HS students who volunteer as coaches have the option to play in the HS leagues for free.
There is an additional $30 surcharge for non-county residents. MYA is charged that same amount by Fairfax County for each non-resident using Fairfax County Public School facilities.
On a per-need basis, a "scholarship" can be granted to those who cannot afford the participant fee. For more information, send an email to

. There are no refunds after the following dates:
- Spring Girls Leagues = March 31
- Fall Boys Leagues = September 30
